Volunteer a few hours to help plant beach grass and clean up the beaches in Island Beach State Park. Planting beach grass helps to build the dunes which in turn, creates habitat, increases coastal resiliency to storms, and is a wonderful community building event. Please arrive to at Swimming Area 1 at 9:30am. After check in, you will be assigned to a specific part of the park. Please bring a pole or shovel to dig with. All participants must register in advance.
