Ways to Volunteer with Friends of IBSP
We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities year-round — from hands-on restoration projects to public outreach at festivals and events. No matter your background or availability, there’s a way for you to help keep Island Beach beautiful and thriving.
Through a unique partnership with the park, we collect donations at the gate during key events — raising thousands of dollars that go directly toward park improvements. Volunteer with us at:

Beach Plum Festival

Help maintain access to the park’s scenic trails. Volunteers assist with building boardwalks, replacing fencing, and keeping trails clean.
