In an attempt to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus, Island Beach State Park is open for passive recreation only. During this time, there will not be any fee for entry, nor will park passes and mobile sport fishing permits be available for sale. People who want to drive on to fish may still do so at this time, as long as they have the required equipment and are actively fishing. All park rules remain in effect and NJ State Park Police continue to enforce the rules.
This also means that all events through April 30th have been postponed, including the Conservation Talks and Membership Meeting. At this time, we are not canceling the May Day Festival and Pet Expo. You can continue to check our website and Facebook pages for updates.
