Volunteers are needed to help plant beach grass in Island Beach State Park on November 22nd.
Planting beach grass helps to build the dunes which in turn, creates habitat, increases coastal resiliency to storms, and is a wonderful community building event. Please arrive to at Swimming Area 1 at 9:30am. After check in, you will be assigned to a specific part of the park. Please bring a pole or shovel to dig with.
