Shellfish Gardening 101
Aug 29 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am

Come out and learn all about shellfish! ReClam the Bay is a local, non-profit environmental organization that promotes environmental involvement and education.  Each year, ReClam the Bay grows and maintains millions of baby clams and oysters, which are used to re-stock the Barnegat Bay. Certified Shellfish Gardeners will teach you about the important relationship between the water in our estuary and the shellfish that inhabit it.  In addition, learn how shellfish are raised in upwellers, how to care for them, as well as feeding patterns, & life cycles of these fragile creatures! For more information, visit http://reclamthebay.org/.
